Balcony Cleaning in San Diego
A balcony is not a small patio. There is often no hose bib, sometimes no floor drain, and the unit below is only a railing away. Most buildings and HOAs also have rules about water, equipment and working hours.
PatioMaid does not pressure wash balconies. We clean condo, apartment and high-rise balconies with a low-moisture method with no water runoff from the balcony. The approach is HOA-friendly, and we check your individual building and HOA rules before we start — approval itself comes from your building.
For larger ground-level spaces, see patio and hardscape cleaning. Balcony visits can also include outdoor furniture cleaning and exterior window cleaning.

What this solves
Common problems we see
- No outdoor water supply, or a supply the building restricts
- No floor drain, so water has nowhere to go but over the edge
- Water dripping onto the balcony, patio or car below when a balcony is hosed or pressure washed
- Dust, soot and salt film on railings and glass panels
- Cobwebs and spider droppings in ceiling corners and light fixtures
- Bird droppings and grime on floors, furniture and cushions
Scope
What's included

- Floor cleaning with a low-moisture method — no rinsing over the edge, no pressure washing

- Cushion cleaning, outdoor furniture cleaning and exterior glass available as add-ons
Our process
How the work is done
01
Review your photos and rules
We check the surface, the drain situation, water access and any building or HOA requirements before quoting a method.
02
Protect the edges
Doors, drains and the balcony edge are protected before any cleaning solution is used.
03
Dry clean first
Cobwebs, dust and loose debris come off dry before any moisture is used.
04
Low-moisture clean
Floors, railings and glass are cleaned with minimal moisture and residue is collected on the balcony, so nothing runs off the edge.
05
Detail and reset
Glass and rails are dried, furniture goes back, and we send photos or walk it with you.
